Marblehead Pottery Decorated 7" Tall Vase
Made in Marblehead, MA., this early Marblehead Pottery decorated vase stands 7" tall by approximately 3.75" in diameter. Designed by Arthur Irwin Hennessey and decorated by Sarah Tutt, it is finished in the easily recognizable Marblehead grey-green glaze and it is decorated with stylized trees done in a complementary grey-green glaze. There is a very good restoration to both the rim and the base edge along with a very tight, short line at the rim. Marks include the "MP" with ship symbol along with "H" and "T" on the base edge. This is a lovely New England Arts and Crafts period vase to add to your pottery collection.
