Dated 1909, this Rookwood Pottery Scenic Vellum vase, shape number 904C, stands 12-3/8th" by 5" in diameter. Decorated by Ed Diers, finished in several shades of blue, it is decorated with water lilies in a pond, white flowers, trees, hills and a blue sky. In excellent overall condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Marks include the Rookwood Pottery "RP" factory stamp, IX (1909), 904C (shape), V (vellum), and Mr. Diers initials.
