Dated 1909, this Saturday Evening Girls pitcher, decorated by Lili Shapiro, stands 5" tall by 3.25" in diameter. Handled, it is decorated with rabbits and turtles, inscribed on body "Slow But Sure", all against several shades of yellow. In overall excellent condition, small bruise at the rim, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Marks include "SEG 229-6-09" and Ms Shapiro's monogram. A very nice early New England SEG Arts and Crafts pitcher to add to your collection.
