Dated 1908, this early high-gloss Newcomb College pitcher, decorated by May Louise Dunn, stands 8" tall by 5" in diameter. Good color and mold, it is in excellent original condition. No chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. As pictured, this pitcher may have been seconded due to a small factory x-shaped firing line on the under base. Marks include the Newcomb College "NC", Ms. Dunn's cipher, conjoined "JM" (Joseph Meyer master potter), "Q", and date code "CH71".
