Circa l924-l930, this Iowa State vase, decorated by Mary L. Yancey, stands 4" tall and is 4" in diameter. Marks include the Iowa State impressed mark, Ames, 363, and Ms. Yancey's cipher. Mary Yancey having graduated from Newcomb College was hired at Iowa State by Paul Cox as an instructor and designer. In excellent original condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
