Dated 1917, this colorful Rookwood Scenic Vellum vase, decorated by Fred Rothenbusch, stands 8.5" tall. Marks include the Rookwood Pottery "RP" logo, XVII, shape number 1655E, V, and artist cipher. In excellent condition, light overall crazing, a couple of glaze pops at the rim, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
