Dated 1918, this Newcomb College Moon and Moss vase, stands 6.25" tall by 8" in diameter. Decorated by Sadie Irvine, it is well carved with great color. Marks include the Newcomb NC stamp, JV46 (date code), 49, Sadie Irvine's cipher and Joseph Meyer's (master potter) cipher. In excellent original condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. As pictured, at the under base is a factory thin spider line that you cannot catch your finger on.
